At Paramount Cycles, we believe that cyclists should give back to the community. Mountain bikers can help by doing trail work; road cyclists can help by speaking out about including bike lanes in road projects. Because what we do for our trails and commuter routes will benefit the entire cycling community.

We encourage you to learn about these and other groups so that you too can get involved and play an active role in your local and state-wide bicycling community.

The recyclingest cycling shop in town!

We’re proud of our commitment to recycling. Every bicycle that arrives at our doors comes in a corrugated cardboard box, as do the many other goods we carry. Products often arrive packaged in plastic or paper. We sort as much recyclable material out of the waste-stream as we can. You name it: aluminum cans, glass bottles, your bent alloy rims. If it’s accepted for recycling in Anchorage, we’ll do it.  It’s just the right thing to do.
